 Went to the farmer's market downtown this morning, then the Temple before heading back to pick up our kids... pretty fun overnight date! We could get used to this!

 Darin took Gavin with him on a couple early morning errands & ended up having breakfast at McD's where Gavin put away a large plate of pancakes & sausage!

Tonight we arranged for the kids to have sleepovers with their friends--the Taylors & the Birds, while Darin & I had an overnight date to downtown Boise! We had dinner at Barbacoa--a place we'd been wanting to try for awhile, then a late movie--San Andreas.

I love this guy!

 I got down a bin of previously "put-away" toys (misc little things like McDonalds toys) & Ellie was trying to prove to me that they had room to keep them on the shelf... haha! & Gavin mows too!

 Gavin's team, the White Sox, had its first game tonight... turns out Gav is one great little pitcher! This division is player-pitch up to to 2 walks per inning, after which the coach takes over pitching. Gavin had zero walks & several strike-outs!

Ellie was so disappointed last night that we had to miss her ballet group picnic... mostly because there was face-painting there! With Gavin's baseball practice & Cub Scout Pack Meeting, there just wasn't time to do it all. I promised her we'd do our own face-painting "sometime," & she held me to it!

 Gav before school & after... we sorted through a year's worth of school papers, & this was what went to the recycle bin! (& Darin headed to China this morning on a quick last minute trip).

 Our spot was right by the river... with an endless supply of rocks to throw in.

   These guys took lots of rides in the ATV, up & down muddy trails. They loved it! I went on one ride with Greyson on my lap, then stayed back in the RV with Bella for some peaceful reading time. :)

 Playing in mud puddles vs. throwing rocks in the river... too close to call.

 

 

 Took a little hike where Gavin found mountains to climb (see that little speck of orange?),

Ellie found several species of wildflowers, & Greyson found a place to potty! 

 Bella was the Monkey in the Middle... all fun & games until the football got washed away down river... :( They even drove the atv down to try & find it with no luck.

 No camping trip is complete without a campfire & S'mores!

 Greyson fell asleep on the drive home & kept sleeping until after we finished unpacking the RV!
