We said goodbye to everyone & drove to Ron & Lesley's house this morning, in time to go to their 1:00 church. This was the only photo I took all day (what happened to my personal photographers?)--of a cute beach scene jello dessert that Lesley & the girls made. They're so fun!

We started our morning with the sound of lovely children's voices singing Primary songs, accompanied by Riley on his ukulele. It was something that had been originally planned for the first night, but kept getting postponed for one reason or another, until now. It was worth the wait! Riley was self-taught on the guitar, mostly from his hospital bed last year. He is quite the guy!
Here's what the last day of the reunion looked like:
Becky had been in charge of planning some outdoor games for the kids. Oh, did they have fun!
This afternoon, Susie led Groups 1 & 2 in doing their clothespin cousins craft, while Groups 3-5 (minus Macy) went on their hike down to the beach with Grandpa.
Not enough has been said (or photographed) of the food. Brett & Kris did all the planning & shopping before coming up to Lake Arrowhead, & they planned just right. It was all delicious, & with assigned helpers to prepare, cook (grill) & clean up, feeding 35 (ok, 34, right Bec?) was as smooth as humanly possible!
Otterpops on the deck were a nightly treat.

Here's how it all ended up. Group 2 edged out the others, (& not because they had 5 people... it was figured by percentage to be fair.) For their prize, Chrissie & Vince took them out for ice cream in the Village, & they each got to choose a Lake Arrowhead souvenir from a local shop.
Late night Mod Podging of the clothespin cousins... followed by an adult discussion on the Atonement, led by Mom & Dad. A huge thanks to Brett & Kristi-Lynn for all their hard work planning & carrying out this reunion! We pack up & leave in the morning!

This morning, Kristi-Lynn had arranged for the original Gibson family (Mom & Dad & their 6 kids) to go to the Redlands Temple & do a session with family names that Aunt Sally & Neal had prepared. It was so very nice to be there together--great perspective! Meanwhile, at the house, the kids played & wrote letters to Great Grandpa Gibson. Thanks to Kristi-Lynn & the dads for holding down the fort! *By the way, I have to give credit to Chrissie & Vance for taking the best (& most) pictures at the reunion. Thanks guys! Actually, we haven't seen Brett & Kristi-Lynn's yet--I'm sure they're awesome--hope to see them some day. ;)
We got home for lunch & a little downtime before we headed out to...
AN ELVIS PRESLEY CONCERT!
Amazing that he just happened to be performing a free concert in Lake Arrowhead Village that night...
It was really fun!

Chrissie was in charge of creating a sticker chart for the groups of kids. They could earn stickers for doing good of any kind. They looked for opportunities! This morning, Groups 1 & 2 went on a hike while Groups 3-5 did a craft: clothespin cousins. They made 7 of each of themselves so each family got to go home with a full set of clothespin cousins. Cute!

Today, June 27, is Susie's birthday! So fun to all be with her to celebrate! We had her birthday cake after lunch, then headed to the beach at Lake Gregory for the afternoon.
Back at the house, all bathed, the kids had a lesson from Grandma & Grandpa about the Atonement.
