365/365

December 31--New Years Eve & the day of the big game: Arizona vs Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl. Gavin likes Boise State, but he made it very clear who he was cheering for today (although it was not their day!). We had appetizers & soup for dinner, & Oreo pie to cap it off... Grey & Ellie lasted until about 10:00, & Gav hung in there with us until midnight to ring in the new year!

 More fun in the snow

363/365

We went to Chili's for a late lunch/early dinner where the kids were glued to the game device that they have at every table. $1.99 for unlimited games... We didn't realize it until after Gavin had activated it, but it was totally worth it! As soon as we got home, the kids wanted to play in the snow... They tried the snowball maker (part of our Christmas present from the Williams). The other day, the snow was too dry to pack a good snowball, but it's starting to melt enough that it's good & wet now.

We have been overtaken by boxes!

359/365

Christmas morning the kids woke up at 4:39 (& they're not normally early risers!) They never went back to sleep, although we held them off until about 6:45 when we let them come out to see if Santa came. We stayed in our jammies all day & were all tucked in by 8pm to catch up on some  lost sleep!
When Gavin opened this shirt, he said, "Are there tickets to the game in here too?"
Sorry kid, it's just the t-shirt.

358/365

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, Angie wrapped presents while Darin & the kids went bowling... :) We got to do a "Google Hangout" with my mom & dad, Brett & Kristi-Lynn's family who are visiting them in Chile, & Patty, which was fun. It started snowing tonight like crazy... didn't expect a white Christmas! The kids opened one present tonight (new jammies), & then we nestled them all snug in Greyson's bed, so visions of sugarplums could dance in their heads (& we could keep them contained & out of the living room until morning).

356/365

Ellie had a little ballet preview class today to learn some basics from Miss Amy, their teacher. Darin has the next two weeks off of work (mostly), & we're not going anywhere! He planned it that way so he could be home to help train Bella (& us on life with a dog). We took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese this afternoon to celebrate the first day of their school break, then tonight for FHE we decorated gingerbread/graham cracker houses & watched some church Christmas videos. #sharethegift :)
