Gavin loves to check the mail. When he gets home from school, he usually asks if I've checked it yet, & if not (usually the case), he runs out to do it. It's the first time since he's been born that we've had a traditional mailbox (one without a key)!

Selling the Vespa... Ellie had one last ride today. Also getting rid of our infant car seat that we got when Gavin was born--6 years ago. All three kids used it, & now even Greyson's grown out of it! Tonight we went to the Scentsy 8th anniversary celebration which always involves giving back to the community. Tonight it was for the local refugees. They had booths set up for businesses run by or for refugees. They invited the community to come spend, & they gave all employees $20 cash to spend. We had some good food & the kids had fun playing games.

Greyson has been really into playing with toys lately. He played with this pig for a good 10-15 minutes, putting the coins in & taking them out. He's also good at cleaning up! We sing the clean up song, & he puts everything away. It's so fun to see him learning new things these days.

Our last Bountiful Basket had mangoes, nectarines, avocados, tomatoes, blueberries... just begging to be turned into fruit salsa for our grilled steak tacos. Sooooo good. Loving summer fruit!

Having 9am church leaves a big chunk of the day (something we're not used to, coming from the 1pm schedule). The kids get a little restless by dinnertime, so around 5:00, Darin took them out to the backyard to get some energy out while I chatted on the phone with Chrissie. Win-Win!

Lots of pool pictures lately, I know. But we're doing it just about every day! Today was our ward BBQ at Storey Park, with a swim from 11-12 then a potluck lunch afterwards. No pictures there--we were too busy meeting people in our new ward! When we came home around 2:00, we drove by the pool to see how crowded it was, & it wasn't crowded at all! So we made a quick stop at our house to get some water bottles, then went straight back to the pool. Just can't get enough!
