 We played at the elementary school playground & at the house... Darin & Ben spent most of the the day installing a new faucet & disposal (our group gift for Mom & Dad) & replacing some of the PVC intake lines that had become brittle & broke during the process. Greyson had a bit of a fever this afternoon, so he took it easy this afternoon & slept a good bit. I've done a poor job of taking quality pictures here--opting for the quick iPhone shots. I didn't get any pictures of our New Years Eve celebration spread... I need to share pictures. Happy New Year!!!

 We drove to Las Vegas today for the weekend & New Year's Eve. The Skidmores met us at Mom & Dad's house where the boys settled into some serious Lego playing.

This morning the girls & kids went to Pennypickle's Workshop (children's museum) while Darin & Ron took a scenic motorcycle ride. The museum was really fun--I wish my pictures were better! Later, we went to Coronado Island--it was such a gorgeous day. Ron & Lesley had been wanting to take photos of their kids, so Darin did a little photo shoot on the beach while our kids played in the sand & looked for shells. After, we walked along the boardwalk, through some residential streets & back along the main street, where we found a little pizza place for dinner just as it was getting dark. Perfect!

The day after Christmas we decided to go to Legoland (had originally planned on Disney's CA Adventure, but Legoland had a great deal going on, & we thought it'd be less crowded (it was great!) We invited (begged) Tessa to come with us, & it was so nice to have one big for every little. Gav was in heaven... loved it. Plus he rode on his very first big roller coaster--not sure he's ready for a repeat any time soon though. It was a fun park--we stayed until closing time & didn't even get to do everything!
