We'd been thinking about it for awhile, but our trip sealed it. The kids love jumping!

 We left by 8:30 this morning... we planned a marathon day of driving--all the way back to Boise, with a few-hours break at Ben & Becky's. We pulled into our driveway a few minutes after midnight.

 These four all happened to be wearing Mickey/Minnie shirts! Disney fans much??

We missed Riley this morning, but we were up early enough to see the other kids off to school before hitting the road back to Las Vegas. Uncle Vince read to Greyson while we packed up. It sure has been fun being here with these guys! It's also nearing the end of our two-weeks-plus "Tour of Cousins"...

we counted them up--our kids got to see a total of 15 cousins this trip (plus 10 aunts & uncles & all 4 grandparents)! Lucky... and blessed.

The kids travelled great! Here's Ellie doing her impression of Mrs. Potatohead's robot dance:

We arrived in time to catch the U of A basketball game, which was Darin's goal all along (unfortunately a tournament-ender). Mom had all the fixins you could dream of for a deluxe salad bar dinner, which sounded sooooo good after snacking on pretzels & cookies all day.

 Brenna got this 1000 piece puzzle for her birthday earlier this month, & they had started it before we got here. I didn't touch it the first few days here, but then it started calling my name... These two boys even got in on the action. Here I am doing my best Bryant impersonation:

Darin & Vince golfed two rounds again today--one in the morning & one in the afternoon, meeting us in the middle for lunch at El Charro. I could get used to this!

We hit up Red Rock Ice Cream again this afternoon... Riley's running a pretty "sweet" gig!

Enjoyed some playtime outside--had to chase balls hit over the fence multiple times...

and finished the puzzle by the end of the night--just in time... we leave tomorrow!

It was nearly 90 degrees outside, so we tried out the Red Rock pool this afternoon! The water was cooooold, but that didn't deter the kids! Actually, it did deter Greyson, but the rest of the kids were undeterred. I went in up to my knees, & Chrissie didn't even wear a swimsuit (from recent experience).

 Meanwhile, Darin & Vince watched the sun move across the sky during not one, but two rounds of golf. Beautiful Arizona. We met them for lunch at Sauce & Frost in between rounds. Yummmmm!

 We left the Heflins' house just after noon, when Bryant caught the school bus, & headed to the zoo! This nice man offered to take our picture for us... & I accidentally took a picture of him while putting my phone into my pocket. :)

 After the zoo, we went with Grandpa Bishop & Rick to see Grandma Bishop at Devon Gables, where she's temporarily staying for some in-house physical therapy. I had left my phone in the car... but Rick got lots of photos--need to get some from him! From there, we met up with Dan, Lisa, Ashley, Danielle, Rene & Tylee at a Mexican restaurant (Guadalajara?) for dinner. It was Lisa's birthday too! 

I love this picture of Gavin & Danielle. These two always pick right up where they left off. 

 After dinner, we drove back to Red Rock, arriving around 9:30 to find that all the cousins waited up for us! This series of photos (taken by Chrissie) just cracks me up. It was after 10:30pm... on a school night for the Heflins. They'd made a pile of stuffed animals to lie on, & Wyatt was reading to the other two. As soon as Chrissie started taking pictures, Bryant turned it on. He is such a ham!
