I went to a girls' night out get-together at a friend's house who just moved out of our ward (& her husband & sons were at their Fathers & Sons campout). These guys appeared to have fun without me!

 I love it. 95% of Greyson's pictures look like this... he's looking with his head, but not his eyes. :)

Today we met a group of friends from our old ward at the zoo!

Darin came home early to get some design work done because sometimes there are too many interruptions/meetings at the office... go figure! So we went to Costco to give him some peace & quiet.

Tonight we were invited to a BBQ with Brook's family (from Scentsy). Ellie & Greyson especially liked their baby, Kate. On the way home, Greyson asked, "Mom, can we get a baby?" :)

 These were the only pictures of the day, although we did a lot! Got a 10x10 storage unit & took a bunch of bins there so we could have more garage space. Again, Gavin was a great help--wish we'd gotten a picture of him!! Next task for Darin: organizing his tools!

We replaced our basketball rim today--it had been slightly bent ever since we got it off Craigslist, & the welding had broken on one side... Gavin's been using it lots lately, so it needed some sprucing up. With the new one on, Darin also raised it to the official 10 foot height.

 Comparison from the first day of preschool (Sept 5, 2013) to the last (today)... we looked it up on the blog, & she wore the same outfit! What an eventful day! We had Ellie's orientation for her new preschool class that starts in the fall (with Mrs. Ririe), followed by her preschool graduation from the class she just finished (with Miss Melissa). Then tonight was Gavin's first baseball game this season!

 That's right, Ellie is not pictured above... she would not go up for their song performances (just like she wouldn't go up with the Primary to sing on Mother's Day)... not sure why... she's not shy!

 but she was there!

 & she had a great year with her fun class & teacher, Miss Melissa.

 Gavin's on the Marlins... based on the practices they've had, it promises to be an exciting season!

 Ellie & Greyson take the opportunity to get some energy out by running to the tree & back.

After a bath, Ellie got to show her Alphabet Book to Dad. We're proud of her (even if she is silly)!

 We had some leftover hamburger buns, so a trip to feed the ducks was in order. That's Ellie way up ahead on her bike.
