 This was Gavin's first try with the mower. Grooming him to take over the job as soon as possible. ;)

He did great as long as it was going in a straight line, but turning was a different story!

 Last game today... it was freezing cold, so I didn't get many pictures--Ellie & Greyson were snuggled up under the picnic blanket on my lap, trying to stay warm. They had a pizza party after the game where they got trophies. Fun season!

When Greyson saw Gavin's tie-dyed shirt, he said, I have one of those! He went & found it in his drawer (it was Gavin's from Cousins Camp in 2009). They match! Souper Salad again for dinner!

Greyson's had a cough & runny nose all week. At night it gets barky, so I set up the humidifier in the middle of the night Monday, & have used it every night since then. It seems to help a bit. Tonight when I started it up, he asked, slightly perturbed, "Why does it make that sound?... It's annoying."

 Last football practice! Tonight there were no drills--just a fun scrimmage with a coach on each team,  no running the ball allowed--only two steps, then they had to pass. They had a blast! This has been a big part of our life lately--5:15-6:45 every Monday & Wednesday plus games on Saturday. What will we do now? Oh yeah... baseball!

 Gavin's class is celebrating Earth week this week with all sorts of fun projects. Today they tie-dyed t-shirts! For dinner tonight we did a spin on one of the kids' favorites (scrambled eggs & toast). We used up our hard boiled Easter eggs to make deviled eggs & toast--half with avocado, half without.

 It's the day after Easter, & I'm not ready to take down our Easter wreath yet! The mock cherry tree in front is buzzing with bees, & our neighbors' lilac bush over our back fence has exploded with blossoms--something I didn't remember seeing at all last year. Love this time of year!

 Easter Sunday & Becky's birthday. 10 kids, 10 Easter baskets! Church with the Williams was excellent--we took up the whole second row, which had Becky a little worried, but it worked out fine. Ben spoke in Sacrament meeting & cousins got to go to primary together. This afternoon, the Skidmores packed up & left, then we headed for home too. So glad we made the trip!

 Tessa was baptized today! We were glad to be there & share in such a special day... which also happened to be the day before Easter & Becky's birthday! There was lots of celebrating to be done. After lunch, the kids hunted for Easter eggs, followed by Easter egg coloring, then some serious playing outside. There's almost nothing better than playing with cousins! Mom & Dad left this evening--it was great to see them too, although I didn't ever get them to pose for a picture!
