Well, Ellie's flu got to all of us today. Gavin even had a day off of school for Teacher Inservice, but spent it being sick. :(  Ellie & Greyson were feeling better by afternoon, but Gav & I felt bad all day.

 Ellie came home from preschool "not feeling good" & ended up throwing up later on... Meanwhile, Gavin & I had been making a racecar cake for the Cub Scout Blue & Gold Banquet--he was invited since he'll be turning 8 this year. We arranged for Gavin to go with a friend so I could stay home with Ellie. Gavin had fun! Ellie took it easy.

 Flag football practice started today--Gavin has been so excited! Practice is at Fuller Park, so Ellie & Grey get to play at the playground while Gavin practices on Mondays & Wednesdays. Win-win!

 Gavin's basketball hoop collection doubled when we picked up this baby on clearance at Fred Meyer for $11. It brings HORSE to a whole new level.

 Suddenly this afternoon we started getting a little hail. Ellie wanted to experience it firsthand.

 Gavin cannot survive without a little football throwing after school. Our weather has gotten considerably better lately, so how can I refuse? Not sure if I'd ever gotten a picture of him with his "flag" on (AKA one of Dad's old socks).

 Presidents Day! Darin took the day off to do something fun today. We went to my favorite place--Flatbread Community Oven for some delicious Napoli pizza, then bowling at a new place, Big Al's. We realized it was Greyson's first time bowling ever! Had a super fun day & capped off the night with FHE & chocolate fondue for the treat. Yum!

 Darin & Gavin played Madden 25 (Darin loves having someone to play with)

 & I broke out a new puzzle (which Gavin wanted to do with me... after football)

Worked in the garage today organizing & getting rid of some things we no longer need... oh, like our highchair, baby stroller, port-a-crib... I'll admit, the finality hit me just a little bit. Took some things to DI & took pictures of things to Craigslist. We had dinner at Firehouse Subs then went & saw the Lego Movie!

 Gavin's Valentines box. He made it a couple weeks ago (as soon as he got the assignment) & finally got to use it today! He had fun going through all the Valentines when he got home from school.

 The newest member of the family: a 2006 Mercedes C230--got a great deal & only 38K miles!
